Mommy and daddy can't trick me with the Valentine's Tree idea...what's next? They put a few eggs on there and call it the Easter Tree...I better not give them any ideas!
Nala and I liked the meeting going on behind us at the ABQ Center for Peace and Justice, but we decided to have our own little "peace gathering" at the back, putting our hands in the plant pots, finding random things on the floor, and working through the details of what a U.S. Dept of Peace would look like!
Not really! Mom made me bundle up, cause she said it was chilly outside. Even though the sun was shining outside, with a little breeze. Come on mom, you are cold not me!
My big sister Savanna made this bracelet for me. It was a wonderful suprise to read through my enveloped mail, and this was in the fan-mail box section. Thanks for making my wrist look beautiful.
On this day, daddy took mom and I to the Indoor Track meet at the Albuquerque Convention Center. I actually stood in line with several elite athletes and wanted a Bib Number. So, as you can see I am number 3. I am still waiting for my race though?
Here is one of our newest additions to the car family. Don't worry, I have my plastic drivers license for my plastic car. This is one vehicle that is energy efficient, especially when mom or dad are pushing me in it. Beep, beep!
I like it when daddy rides horses with me. It's fun, to see a grown and tall man sit on a horse. I feel like the horse I am on is a little tiny for me too.
I put my own shoes on (no, they are not backwards) and b-ball shorts, I am ready to play. Especially as I heard that my brother Bonzo is coaching Pee-Wee basketball.
Daddy and I are jamming at 9 in the morning. La Plazita let us play our tunes and makes some unique beats. We were amazing, believe me. I was teaching daddy my new songs that I wrote called "Don't let tissue get stuck to your shoe", and "Clothe diapers are cool."
Here daddy is teaching me to do curls, and I am having fun on this little zip-bar. I can hold my own weight, but dad just decided to help me this time. Thanks dad!
A day in the life of a toddler, visiting the Howard County library, as I spend time relaxing in a cubby hole seat. I love the library, more for running around rather than standing and looking at the books.
At the toothbrushing confession seat. I spent a few moments reflecting on how wonderful it is to brush my teeth, while at the Columbia Mall's kiddy play area. Notice my beaver friend doing the same too!
Ready set Giraffe. This is my friend, who stretches his/her neck over the rocks to say Hello to me. Today, we decided to get our picture taken together.
Not cash, but dough to pat and make frybread. Here I am testing the quality of my homemade dough. I want to make the best frybread, so I take a taste-test; this is exactly what my fingers and mouth are doing. Perfect.
I am a healer.
I am a father, a husband, a brother, and a son.
I am grateful for each new day, and do my best to show this in my life, my actions, and my writing.
I have turned Writing to Heal into a book! You can buy a copy here. http://www.communitypublishing.org/writing-to-heal/
