No stopping me from eating...

that ice cream cone was delicious!! We had a visit with grandmother Lisa Atkins and family, and we ate out. Yummy for my tummy (actually my sweet-tooth). Thanks grandma Lisa!

Bathing time....

Ready, Aim, Squirt! Sunshine, the green feathered bird, is awaiting his spray bath. He let me spray him. Thanks Sunshine!

Hanging with grandmother Rosie

I love the beach, but I also love my grandmother Rosie and brother Bah'Hozhooni! Oh yeah, let's not forget the movies at the beach too- I believe 'Kenny the shark' was showing this evening!

Tea anyone?

I'm a sitting in a tea-pot red and hot at Cape May, NJ arcade center. Enjoyed the beach, boardwalk, and games!

Future architect, maybe?

Days on the beach are full of adventure. Today, I was hoping to build me a sand castle and be the princess of the day.

Chilling in UNC with some ole' friends....

I am graciously hosted by Ms. Brandi Brooks, assistant of the American Indian Graduate Center of UNC in Chapel Hill. Office work can be so glamorous!

Dressed to Impress!

During my stroll on Capitol Hill, DC, I wore my princess' best outfit. Of course, I was hoping to get some health tips, not dress up tips from the politicians. Oh well, strike a pose!

Nizhoni helping Nizhoni

Who else to help me, little Nizhoni? Older Nizhoni (Denipah)! This was a Nizhoniful day!

Prep for wall-climbing (in spring 2011)

The rock-climbing center in Albuquerque was kind enough to have little kiddo's rock-climbing gear available. I am ready to climb away!

This is what happens....

when mom's step away from your daughters!! I was trying to convince mom that we should have a strategic planning meeting...on how to select a head-start or early childhood care service. I think that in the end my strategy won, because I get to stay with mom, baby brother Bah'Hozhooni, and sometimes dad at home.

Monkey see, monkey doo.

At least this is what I felt I was playing with dad. I was actually trying to convince him that we could see out of our home-made hand binoculars. It didn't take to long for him to catch up. 'See it dad, it is waaaaaayyyyyy up there."

We be representing...

I was dancing at the NACA Pow Wow this summer 2011, and my kid brother, mom , and dad (who is taking the photo) are enjoying their time there too, It was fun to dance fancy shawl and make my little brother laugh/smile.

Promoting...

i was all dressed up in my Dine' outfit, like my big sister Savanna. She actually got promoted into the 7th grade. I am proud of her, she is a smart young lady (actually tall girl). I want to be tall and smart too!

I like many things...

Wilbur is one of these things! He is a feisty little guy, but adorable. He lives in Boulder, and I get to see him when I visit my uncle 'rome!!

My bestest friend...

Cheese! My favorite ride at chuck e.cheese is the horsey. But today, I felt like sitting with this guy!

I love being ORIGINAL!

With goggles, baby blue shirt and shorts, plus mom's night socks and heels I look my finest. I am different looking, but I am original and that is all that matters. I am me - cheese!

Gathering of Nations 2011

My first time as a tiny-tots fancy shawl pow-wow dancer at the UNM Pit event, known as the Gathering of Nations. I was among the very many talented youth!

I am good company...

I love being a big sister, and I watch over my baby brother...even when he is sleeping! Watch a bye baby.

The cat

in the hat standing next to me. We were being silly on this windy day!

Go Isotopes!!

The little cow meets Orbit the Albuquerque Isotopes' mascot! Mooove it Orbit!

I remember when my brother was born

I became a big sister back in March, and was very blessed to watch my baby brother come into this world. I am excited to be a big sister.

Getty-up

Chinning up to be like my favorite character on Stripes (the movie about the zebra who thinks he is a horse). I pretend that I am like Channing, the young girl who is a horse racer. I am a racer!!

Waiting in line for my turn to jump...

Great long jump form for a two-year old, if I may say so myself!

They say that children (like me) and dogs are happiest when running. I agree! Here, I am hanging with the big kids of the AOC Track Club

Away I go!
My cousin Cory and I joyriding down main street, Tuba City style

I am no high heel girl"...that is what my shirt says, and that is the truth. Here I am on ABQ's prized indoor track, ready to cheer on Uncle Jay as he races at the USATF Indoor Nationals!
Enjoying the wildlife of Albuquerque!

I like these goggles, yet am completely unwilling to use them to go underwater...they are "dry land" goggles!

I luv my lil bro!
